Description: Buell's unique S1 Lightning is the archetypal naked muscle bike
- an American-made hot rod on which less is more. The Lightning has a
rawness to it that maximizes the feel of motorcycling's basics; a powerful
engine, great handling and the wind in your face. The Lightning doesn't
pass on everything though - Buell's Uniplanar engine vibration isolation
system limits engine movement to improve rider control and comfort. A
single front brake is used to save weight but its six piston caliper
grabbing a full-floating 13.4 inch slotted disc is more than capable of
hauling the S1's 425lbs to a stop.
