Description: The Buell M2 Cyclone remains a whirlwind of performance. Its
83 horsepower, 1203cc V-Twin motor generates stirring acceleration,
blasting out the sound of raw throaty power. The engine sets this
model apart from the S1 Lightning and S3 Thunderbolt; the M2 retains
shorter-duration cams for broader applications of torque. Lowered,
forward-placed pegs and relatively high bars provide a comfortable
sport-riding position with a relaxed, mild lean-in for all-day
riding. Among the changes for 1998 are new brakes front and rear, which
offer enhanced stopping potential. A compression and preload-adjustable
Showa rear suspension now complements a fully braced, rebound and preload
adjustable, racingg-bred Showa front fork for improved ride. An expanded
list of accessories designed to fit the M2 Cyclone further add to the
motorcycle's versatility.
